WHAT IS ACCEPTANCE AND COMMITMENT THERAPY?

Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) is an action-oriented approach to psychotherapy in which one stops avoiding, denying, and struggling with their inner emotions and, instead, accept that these deeper feelings are appropriate responses to certain situations that should not prevent them from moving forward in their lives. With this understanding, individuals begin to accept their hardships and commit to making necessary changes in their behavior, regardless of what is going on in their lives and how they feel about it.

WHAT IS EMDR THERAPY? 

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is a mental health treatment technique. This method involves moving your eyes a specific way while you process traumatic memories. EMDR’s goal is to help you heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. The most widespread use of EMDR is for trauma, but it is also proven effective with anxiety, depression, OCD, and more. 

EMDR therapy doesn’t require much talking in detail about a distressing issue. Instead, it focuses on changing the emotions, thoughts or behaviors that result from a distressing experience or trauma.

WHAT IS MINDFULNESS?

Mindfulness is the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something. As a therapeutic technique, it is a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations.

Too much time planning, problem-solving, daydreaming, or thinking negatively can be draining. It also makes you more likely to experience stress, anxiety & symptoms of depression. Practicing mindfulness can help you direct your attention away from this kind of thinking and engage with the world around you.

HOW MUCH ARE YOUR RATES?

Effective March 2023, our rates are as follows:

  • Intake Assessment (75 - 90 minutes) -- up to $210 

    • For new clients and those reestablishing care.

  • Individual Therapy (50 - 60 minutes) -- up to $165​​ 

  • Couples Therapy (90 minutes) -- up to $185

  • Group Therapy - $75 per session

  • Administrative Fees - $50 per 15 min.

Payment is due at the start of each session and can be made using the following:
